Just after 0300 hours, E101 responded to Hughesville for the Working Commercial Building Fire. While enroute, E101 was re-routed to fill Station 2 (Hughesville). While on the fill-in, E101 along with Tanker 10 (from quarters) responded to Oliver Lane in Clements, MD for the Working House Fire. First arriving units found a one story dwelling fully involved. E101 arrived and assisted with extinguishing the fire and extensive overhaul operations. Tanker 10 arrived and operated in the water shuttle operations. Crews operated for several hours before returning to service. The cause of the fire was determined to be a portable heating device.
