This is a scene from Dove Drive taken by one of our neighbors. Crews have handled countless tree downs over the last 18 hours, and with the winds and frigid temperatures expected overnight, that could mean more calls for service to be expected.
We would like to take a minute to also recognize our brave crews from SMECO who have been out in the cold and wet since the first flakes fell, doing their very best to restore power and bring the lights back on for so many of our county residents.
