Just after 1300, Rescue Squad 10 and A109 were alerted to Crain Hwy and Rt. 257 for the MVC w/Extrication. RS10, A109, and Chief 10 quickly responded and arrived to find a 2 vehicle accident in the intersection. Chief 10 assumed the Command, and the crew went to work assessing the damage to the vehicles. E144 established a safety hose line while the crew from RS10 and the crew from Co.14 popped 2 doors to assist in patient removal and care. Maryland State Police Trooper 2 was requested for a medivac to a local trauma center for one patient, while A109 transported the second patient to a local hospital for a check up.
