Today we participated in the Southern Maryland Fireman's parade and came home with Best Appearing Rescue Squad and 2nd Best Appearing Engine 1500 GPM or more for Engine 101 (1997). With that being said, we won awards for our newest and oldest apparatus in the parade lineup today. Hard work does pay off. Thank you again to the membership who put in the hours making our apparatus stand out today. The BAVFD was also awarded 1st Place for the Class III Fire Prevention Program in 2014 during this year's convention.
