Engine and Rescue on Entrapment

February 13, 2015

Just after 2230 hours, companies 1, 8, and 10 were alerted along with EMS units to Rose Hill Road for the MVC with Extrication. Engine 102 and Chief 10B responded on the run as the suppression company. Moments later, Rescue Engine 13 advised they had extensive entrapment and requested an additional Rescue Squad. Chief 10B immediately headed to the station, and along with other crew members responded with Rescue Squad 10. Units arrived on scene and worked hand-in-hand with other companies to remove the trapped occupant from the car. The driver of the van was out on his own free will upon arrival. Great job to all fire and ems crews on scene for a great example of TEAMWORK.
