Small Fire in Newburg

Shortly after 1730 hours, Squad 10 w/Chief 10A, Tanker 10, and Chief 10B responded for a House Fire in Newburg. Chief 10B arrived on scene to find an Auto on fire in the attached garage and established the Command. Personnel on scene were able to keep the fire in check with a garden hose until the arrival of Engine 143 (Newburg). Crews knocked down all remaining fire and checked for extension. After ensuring all fire was out, Squad 10 ventilated the structure and crews picked up. The fire was caused by mechanical failure of the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
