Just after 0400 hours, Engine 101 and Chief 10 responded as the first due Engine on the 2nd Alarm townhouse fire in Waldorf. Units were on the scene at 2584 Hatteras Circle with a middle of the row unit with fire conditions throughout the structure. Engine 101 arrived in staging, but was quickly called to the scene to assist units with opening up and checking for extension. Chief 10 was assigned the Interior Division to oversee Operations. Crews had to access the 2nd floor utilizing ground ladders due to the interior steps being burned out. Units on scene worked for several hours completing extensive overhaul. Engine 101 cleared the fire ground shortly after 0800 hours.
