At 1620 hours Rescue Squad 10 and Chief 10 responded to Budds Creek Road in the area of Stines Store Road for the MVC with Entrapment. First arriving Engine 143 confirmed the entrapment and established the "234 Command". Chief 10 arrived and assumed the command, while RS10 arrived and began their extrication assessment. Units went to work extricating the patient by removing both driver and passenger side doors, folding the roof back, and removing the passenger seat and center console. The patient was handed off to awaiting EMS crews on scene and transported to CRMC. Crews operated for 45 minutes.

While cleaning up on the scene, Rescue Squad 10 was alerted to respond to Charles Street and Trinity Church Road for the MVC with Entrapment. RS10 responded along with Squad 2 and Rescue Engine 13.
