Announcing the passing of Life Member and Past Chief Engineer John Fredrick Robertson Sr. "Freddie"

It is with deep regret that the members of the Bel Alton Volunteer Fire Department announce the passing of Life Member and Past Chief Engineer John Fredrick Robertson Sr. on Tuesday March 20, 2012, Freddie began his fire service career on September 6, 1967, at the age of 16. Throughout his membership Freddie held many postions to include Chief Engineer and Department Saftey Officer. Freddie also obtained numerous awards, most notably Firefighter of the year in 2000. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Robertson Family.

Funeral Arrangements are as follows:

Viewing: Thursday March 22, 2012, 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Fireman's Prayers at 7:00pm, at 9765 Bel Alton Newtown Road Bel Alton MD, 20611 at the Bel Alton Volunteer Fire Department.

Funeral: Friday March 23, 2012 10:00am services, at 9765 Bel Alton Newtown Road Bel Alton MD, 20611 and Burial at 11:30 at 13050 Rock Point Road Wayside, MD 20664 at the Christ Episcopal Church.

The Repast will be held following the services at 9765 Bel Alton Newtown Road Bel Alton MD, 20611 at the Bel Alton Volunteer Fire Department.
