First Due Fire Alarm

By Captain Steven Schulz
November 2, 2009

At approximately 1718 hrs. Company 10 was alerted for a fire alarm to a single family dwelling in the Chapel Point Woods neighborhood. Engine 102 and Tanker 10 responded for the investigation. Units arrived on scene and found nothing evident. After further investigation and conversation with the homeowner, a burned pot of food on the stove set off the alarm. After checking for extension, and helping the homeowner with smoke removal, the company cleared the call.

Units: Engine 102, Tanker 10
