At approximately 1525 hours, Station 10, along with other units were dispatched to the Charles County Fairgrounds for a structure fire. Engine 101 arrived reporting heavy fire from multiple structures and advised the incoming units on a plan for water supply and requested the 2nd Alarm be sounded. Chief 3 arrived shortly after and established the Fairgrounds Command. As units were initiating an attack on the structures, a large brush fire was found near the railroad tracks and spreading fast due to high winds. Command requested the Brush Fire Task Force from Charles ECC. As units from the 1st and 2nd Alarms were battling the fires, a General Alarm was sounded in Charles County for any available units to respond to the fire ground. At one point in the incident, MSP Trooper 7 was utilized for Aerial Observation of the Fire Ground. Chief 3B was tasked with the Aerial Operations.
