Shortly after midnight, Engines 10, 1, SM2, RS2, Tankers 10 and 1 and EMS 15 and 51 were dispatched to 9700 Bowling Drive for a shop on fire. Chief 10, first arriving, advised he was on the scene of a 40 X 80 Amish Wood Shop well involved. E101 arrived shortly after, laying dual lines and advanced the 250' stack tip attack line. E12 arrived and picked up E101's line and their crew advanced the 400' attack line. Crews attempted to mount a quick interior attack, but due to the amount of fire inside the structure, were forced to back out and a defensive attack was taken. Truck 1 took a position on side Alpha and set up their ladder pipe. Once the bulk of the fire was knocked down by Truck 1, crews advanced the hand lines and knocked down the remaining fire. All the crews worked together to get the job done. Thank you to the crews on the scene for a job well done!
